Missouri is known for churning out top defensive prospects to the NFL — particularly when it comes to the defensive line.

Redshirt junior Charles Harris appears primed for a long and productive professional career. There’s no timetable on when he’ll leave Columbia — although we may know an answer to this question on Thursday:

Last season as a redshirt sophomore, Harris burst onto the scene — accruing 7.0 sacks and an SEC-leading 18.5 tackles-for-loss. In 2016, Harris is second on the team in tackles (61) and leads the Tigers in sacks (9.0) and tackles-for-loss (12.0).

Harris is projected as a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker on the next level. NFL teams are thirsty for versatile pass-rushing prospects — and Harris fits this description quite nicely.

It would not be a shock to see the dynamic athlete end up as a first-round pick in 2017 (assuming he does declare for the draft).
