Mizzou’s recent hot streak on the 2016 recruiting trail continued Tuesday after three-star athlete Trey Baldwin confirmed his commitment to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-2, 225 pound tackler gives the Tigers nine commitments in next year’s class and pushes Mizzou’s 2016 recruiting ranking into the Top 50 for the first time at No. 42 according to the 247Sports Composite.

Baldwin, a Texas native, attended Texas A&M’s camp over the weekend. He was offered by Mizzou on May 29.

Baldwin projects as an outside linebacker in the SEC, but plays several positions at Cypress Falls High in Houston including safety and running back.
