Mizzou QB Drew Lock didn’t have his best game in the Tigers’ 45-17 win at Vanderbilt on Saturday night, but he did manage to throw for three touchdowns, even though he only completed 10 of his 25 passes for 235 yards.

On Monday, Lock revealed that he was on the receiving end of some trash talk from a Vanderbilt defender early in the game, telling Lock he’d “be here all night.”

However, even after getting hit, Lock had a great response, telling the defender it was going to be a long night for him in that case:

Indeed, it proved to be a long night for the Vanderbilt defense, as the Tigers thoroughly controlled the game.

Mizzou reached bowl eligibility with the win, extending the Tigers’ winning streak to five games after a 1-5 start. Lock and the Tigers are feeling very confident this year, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can tack on a seventh victory at Arkansas on Friday afternoon.
