HOOVER, Ala. — Missouri released a pre-fall depth chart in its media guide, which the team distributed at SEC Media Days.

Those looking for more clarity on the defensive line will have to wait until Wednesday, when coach Gary Pinkel is expected to address the media regarding the status of Harold Brantley.

The defensive tackle suffered major injuries in a car accident his summer, including a broken leg and torn knee ligaments. The assumption is that he won’t play this season, but for now, he’s listed as a starter in the depth chart below.

For now, Pinkel has elevated redshirt freshman Walter Brady into the starting defensive end spot vacated by Marcus Loud, dismissed from the team a few weeks after spring practice.

Although the media guide lists a designation of “RG” in front of Connor McGovern, that’s a typo. He’s slated to enter the fall as the team’s left tackle despite spending the majority of the last two years at right tackle. Incidentally, the right guard — Mitch Hall — also is a senior, not a redshirt freshman. So there are four seniors projected to start along the offensive line, with sophomore Nate Crawford (right tackle) as the only exception, although he should endure some competition from JUCO transfer Tyler Howell.

Running back Morgan Steward and his mysterious hip injury (out since last August) are back on the depth chart as well, so we’ll see if he returns to practice this fall.
