For those dismissing Mizzou’s out-of-conference schedule since the Tigers joined the SEC in 2012, steps are being taken to ensure that argument’s over as part of the SEC’s Power 5 non-conference mandate beginning in 2016.

According to the Charleston Daily Mail, Mizzou has agreed in principle to a two-year series with West Virginia with the first game coming in Morgantown during the 2016 season. The Mountaineers won’t travel to Faurot Field until 2019.

Missouri already has a two-year series with Purdue in place for 2017 and 2018.
