The Missouri Tigers had been cruising through the spring without any significant injuries, but on Thursday, that changed.

According to Alex Schiffer of KansasCity.com, star WR Emanuel Hall was injured during Thursday’s practice and will miss Saturday’s spring game.

Strangely, the injury to Hall’s left shoulder occurred in a collision with QB Drew Lock, per the report:

Missouri will be without wide receiver Emanuel Hall for Saturday’s spring game after he injured his left shoulder in practice Thursday. The injury occurred in a collision with quarterback Drew Lock. Hall will get his shoulder examined next week and he is expected to be fully recovered by July 1.

Why Lock and Hall were in a position to collide wasn’t mentioned, but at least the star quarterback didn’t get hurt, and it sounds like Hall will be OK by the start of summer camp.

Those two had some incredible connections last year, but if they’re running into each other as part of new OC Derek Dooley’s offense, there may be some problems this fall.
