Missouri quarterback Drew Lock has long been viewed as an NFL prospect. Now an NFL analyst has called Lock a top 10 talent amount quarterbacks in college football.

ESPN’s Trent Dilfer tweeted several film study breakdowns of Lock, among other quarterbacks around college football. Among the accolades Dilfer heaped on Lock was that he made an “NFL throw,” “threw a receiver open,” and “#anticipationaccuracy.”

Dilfer took the coaches film and analyzed Lock with Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson and what NFL traits they possess.

Lock this season is 47-for-94 passing for 899 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions. But seven of those TDs came in the opener against Missouri State, and four interceptions came in the last two weeks in losses to South Carolina and Purdue. Lock is second in the SEC in passing at 299 yards per game.

This is Lock’s third season as Missouri’s quarterback. He’s widely viewed among the next tier of quarterback prospects below the quarterbacks at Southern Cal and UCLA, Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen.
