Damarea Crockett had one of the most memorable seasons by a freshman in Mizzou’s storied history, despite not earning a starting job til midseason. Now, the university knows that they’ll have a bell cow back for at least another two years, and the hype is building.

Check out this official highlight by Mizzou Football.

Crockett gained 1,062 yards on only 153 carries last season for a blistering average of 6.9 yards per carry. In a Mizzou offense that ranked first in the conference with 501 yards per game, Crockett provided balance to the team’s explosive passing attack.

Now as a sophomore, he hopes to add onto that success. If the team can turn around their defensive woes, Crockett could be a breakout star in the league.
