The ball is starting to roll in Columbia as the Tigers have picked up yet another commitment Friday. Hours after Texas linebacker Cameron Wilkins announced his pledge to join Mizzou’s latest class, Michigan defensive back Vincent Gray has followed suit, announces his commitment to the 2018 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive back prospect chose to commit to the Tigers over offers from Kentucky, Boston College, Cincinnati, Virginia and Washington State among others. Gray currently ranks as a three-star prospect, the nation’s No. 57 cornerback and the No. 13 overall prospect from Michigan according to 247Sports Composite Ratings.

Gray took his commitment public by sending out the following tweet:

Following this commitment, Mizzou is now up to seven commits for in the 2018 recruiting cycle — none of which are from Missouri. With a loaded pool of in-state prospects hailing from Missouri this cycle, the Tigers could potentially build a special recruiting class if the Tigers can keep kids at home this winter.
