It’s going to be a long year for the New York Jets, who are already among the favorites to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

However, there will be a couple of big reasons for Mizzou fans to tune in to the action, as former Tiger DL Sheldon Richardson and Kony Ealy are sure to wreak havoc on opposing offensive lines.

On Thursday, in his first game with the Jets after being cut by the New England Patriots last week, Ealy raced around the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line and stripped the ball away from the quarterback, leading to a Jets’ recovery:

The Jets held on for the 16-10 win in their final preseason game, thanks in large part to Ealy’s efforts. He recorded three tackles on the night.

Ealy will get his first of two chances to get revenge on the Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 15, when New England travels to New York.
