After a hot start to the 2016 recruiting class, Ole Miss is showing no signs of slowing down.

Four-star JUCO outside linebacker David Luafatasaga committed to Ole Miss Thursday. Luafatasaga is originally from Hawaii, but he plays JUCO ball at Arizona Western College.

“I think I can come in and make a big impact,” Luafatasaga told 247Sports. “I think I can play inside or outside. I just want to come in and make some noise and be a Land Shark. I’m going to continue to work very hard to be ready when I get there.”

Luafatasaga is a 6-4, 225-pound backer who can play inside or outside, and he isn’t afraid to lay the hammer when he hits ball carriers. He’s a big piece to Hugh Freeze’s ’16 class after the Rebels missed on linebacker Leo Lewis, who signed with Mississippi State.

Luafatasaga becomes the Rebels’ 10th commitment in the 2016 recruiting class, and he’ll be a January 2016 enrollee. Luafatasaga is ranked as the No. 1 JUCO outside linebacker in the 2016 recruiting class.
