The Ole Miss Rebels capped its first nine-win regular season since 2003 last week with a win over Mississippi State in the 111th Egg Bowl.

Here’s a rundown of how some of Ole Miss’ 2013 recruits fared last weekend against the Bulldogs:

  • Quincy Adeboyejo: Adeboyejo was relatively quiet versus the Bulldogs, recording just one catch for 24 yards.
  • Tony Conner: The sophomore safety asserted himself early in the game, recording seven tackles, three tackles-for-loss, one sack, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry. Conner made a lot plays defending both the run and the pass against a good MSU offense.
  • Mark Dodson: Dodson saw action the backfield and on special teams. He rushed for six yards on two carries and had a greater impact on kick return, where he totaled 52 yards on two returns.
  • Evan Engram: Engram was, perhaps, the player of the game against the Bulldogs. Engram stepped for a Rebels wide receiving corps struggling without Laquon Treadwell. Engram caught five passes for 176 yards, highlighted by an 83-yard reception.
  • Robert Nkemdiche: Nkemdiche’s statline doesn’t jump off the page, but his presence was felt. The defensive end recorded seven tackles and one tackle for loss.
  • Laquon Treadwell: Treadwell didn’t play due to a season-ending injury suffered Nov. 1 against Auburn.
  • Laremy Tunsil: Tunsil anchored an offensive line that dominated the trenches against a very good Mississippi State front seven. The Rebels allowed just one sack and three tackles for loss to the Bulldogs, and plowed running lanes for the best rushing effort Ole Miss has put forth this season.
