Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze had his weekly meeting with the media on Monday afternoon.

Freeze previewed Arkansas, Ole Miss’ opponent this week, and also was asked about the now-vacant coaching position at Florida.

  • “We enjoyed our off week.” Says it was much-needed for players and staff to rejuvenate.
  • Said Rebels should be at full health — with the exception of a few season-ending injuries — on Saturday against Arkansas
  • On Arkansas: “Watching them on tape, I’m extremely impressed with the job that they do and knowing who they are.”
  • Freeze mentions he’s said all year long he felt all seven SEC West teams are “quality, top 25 teams.”
  • “They don’t give up many points, people don’t rush the football on them.”
  • Says play-action off physical run game are “extremely hard to defend.”
  • Says coaches have preached all along you “play until the end.” Says there’s a lot of football left to be played.
