After an offseason full of turmoil, the Ole Miss Rebels will finally be able to get back to football on Saturday night against South Alabama.

Though South Alabama knocked off Mississippi State in last year’s season opener, the Rebels will be heavily favored to do what their Egg Bowl rivals couldn’t do — taking down the Jaguars.

When the Rebels take on the Jaguars, they’ll do so wearing their navy blue helmets, red jerseys and white pants:

Coming off a 5-7 season in 2016, the Rebels need to get off to a good start to restore faith in the program after the resignation of coach Hugh Freeze amid a scandal and ongoing NCAA sanctions.

Saturday’s game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Central time and can be seen on ESPNU.
