In 2013, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze brought four five-star and seven four-star recruits to Oxford in an historic Rebels recruiting class.

The quartet of five stars — defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche, offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and defensive back Tony Conner — have all played crucial roles for Ole Miss the last two years. They’re now juniors soon facing the decision to return to school or enter the NFL.

But they aren’t the only members of the Rebels’ 2013 class that have become major contributors.

Four-star Ryan Buchanan and three-star DeVante Kincade found themselves competing with Chad Kelly for the starting QB job this season. Although Kelly was the starter, Buchanan and Kincade both saw plenty of action in the Rebels’ first two games and could see more moving forward in certain situations.

Wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo and TE Evan Engram were three-star recruits out of the 2013 class who have emerged as starters and playmakers on the Ole Miss offense. Fadol Brown, a transfer from Florida International in 2013, is a starter on the Rebels’ stout defensive front.

As mentioned before, several players from this vaunted class will be playing on Sundays next year, while others return for their senior seasons. So this will be the 2013 recruiting class’ last season together in Oxford.

Here’s how members of the 2013 class performed in the Rebels’ 38-27 Egg Bowl win over in-state rival Mississippi State in Week 13:

DL Robert Nkemdiche: Although considered one of the best in college football at his position, Nkemdiche doesn’t always stuff the stats because of the attention blockers give him on a weekly basis. But he made his presence felt in the Rebels’ regular-season finale with four tackles and 1.5 sacks.

LT Laremy Tunsil: Since coming back from a seven-game suspension, Tunsil looks like the player projected as a top NFL Draft pick next May. Tunsil did his part in keeping Chad Kelly clean against the Bulldogs by allowing no sacks and helping the Rebels rush for 243 yards.

WR Laquon Treadwell: It was clear Mississippi State focused on stopping Treadwell. The junior’s four-reception, 22-yard performance in the Egg Bowl snapped his six-game streak with a receiving TD. It was the lowest yardage total of Treadwell’s season.

TE Evan Engram:
Coming off a game where he set season highs in receptions, receiving yards and scored his second TD of the year, Engram regressed a little bit but still made a few nice plays in the Egg Bowl. Engram had two receptions for 43 yards.

WR Quincy Adeboyejo: Adeboyejo had one of his quietest games of the season. He had only two receptions for 36 yards. Adeboyejo, who hasn’t had more than three receptions in a game since Oct. 24 against Texas A&M, has 37 receptions for 581 yards and 7 TDs.

RB Jordan Wilkins:
Wilkins is not the primary ball carrier in the Ole Miss backfield, but he was the only one to score a rushing TD against Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl. Wilkins’ 38-yard run early in the fourth quarter gave the Rebels a 38-13 lead. He finished with five carries for 54 yards and that score.
