Former Ole Miss record-setting quarterback Eli Manning led his New York Giants to their first win of the 2014 season on Sunday, topping the Houston Texans 30-17 to improve to 1-2 on the year.

Manning looked sharp all game, completing 75 percent of his passes (21 of 28) for for 234 yards in the victory. He threw for two touchdowns and did not turn the ball over a single time, a welcomed improvement after Manning threw four interceptions in his first two games and 27 interceptions last season for the Giants.

Here’s how some other former Rebels performed for their NFL teams last weekend:

  • Brandon Bolden: Bolden carried the ball two times for a total of four yards for the New England Patriots in their 16-9 win over the Oakland Raiders.
  • John Jerry: Jerry helped protect Manning as the Giants’ right guard in their win over the Texans on Sunday. Manning was sacked just once all game despite facing one of the best defensive lines in the nation, a credit to New York’s play up front.
  • Kendrick Lewis: Lewis starred for the Texans in their loss to New York, recording 12 tackles along with a forced fumble from his safety position in the back-end of the Houston defense.
  • Bobby Massie: The former Ole Miss offensive lineman started at right tackle for the Arizona Cardinals in their win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Massie protected backup quarterback Drew Stanton, who played in place of starter Carson Palmer, who remains sidelined with an injury.
  • Trumaine McBride: The Giants’ cornerback made six tackles in New York’s win over Houston.
  • Dexter McCluster: The Tennessee Titans’ scat back carried the ball one time for no gain, but caught two passes for 15 yards in Tennessee’s 33-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
  • Donte Moncrief: The former Ole Miss wideout and current Indianapolis Colts’ rookie was targeted five times in the Colts’ 44-17 win over Jacksonville, catching four passes for 55 yards. He also carried the ball once for seven yards.
  • Michael Oher: Oher played offensive tackle for the Titans in their loss to Cincinnati, as the Tennessee offensive line allowed quarterback Jake Locker to be sacked twice on the afternoon. The Titans run game looked impressive, however, rushing for 149 yards at better than five yards per carry despite trailing for most of the game.
  • Jerrell Powe: Powe made three tackles from his defensive tackle position in Houston’s 30-17 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
  • Mike Wallace: The Dolphins’ electrifying wideout was targeted 12 times in Sunday’s 34-15 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but he caught just five passes out of those 12 targets, amassing 74 yards. He also carried the ball once for 12 yards, but did not get in the end zone against Kansas City.
  • Patrick Willis: The 49ers longtime star linebacker made six tackles in San Francisco’s disappointing loss to Arizona, despite the absence of the Cardinals’ starting quarterback. Willis now has 20 tackles in three weeks, putting him on pace to reach 100 tackles for the first time since the 2010 season.
