Former Ole Miss QB Bo Wallace, now an assistant coach for East Mississippi Community College, was arrested and charged with a DUI Saturday night, according to a report by The Clarion Ledger.

Although the Clay County Sheriff’s office said no additional details would be released until Monday, EMCC coach Buddy Stephens said that Wallace had taken some prescription medication after working a youth camp and had fallen asleep at the wheel. Wallace had a wreck and was arrested a little after 11:00 p.m. following the accident. He was released at 1:16 a.m. on $813.50 bond.

Wallace joined the EMCC staff in January as an assistant, where he won a national championship and was the NJCAA player of the year before landing with Ole Miss. Wallace had a nice three-year career for the Rebels, throwing for 9,534 yards, 62 touchdowns and 41 INTs. He also rushed for 19 touchdowns during his career.
