Redshirt sophomore Nathan Peterman will start at quarterback for Tennessee in its game against No. 4 Alabama tonight. The Vols’ official twitter tweeted a picture from the Neyland Stadium jumbotron with Peterman being shown during the team’s starting lineup.

Peterman has appeared in eight games and has thrown for 84 yards and two interceptions on 18-of-38 passing. He has also ran for 15 net yards and a touchdown on 14 attempts. Peterman’s only career start came at Florida last season on Sept. 21.
