Dunbar played wide receiver at Florida but earned NFL playing time as a cornerback after going undrafted in 2015. He spent the 2015-19 seasons with the Washington franchise. In March 2020, Dunbar signed with the Seattle Seahawks.
In May 2020, Dunbar was arrested for his role in an alleged armed robbery. Dunbar was on the NFL commissioner’s exempt list until charges were ultimately dropped in August 2020. He played in 11 games for the Seahawks until he was placed on IR with a knee injury.
In his pro career, Dunbar has played in 64 games, recording 169 tackles, 40 passes defended and 10 interceptions.
During the 2021 offseason, Dunbar signed with the Detroit Lions in April but was let go in August. In late September, he signed with Arizona. Earlier this month, the Cardinals released Dunbar from their practice squad. We’ll see if this opportunity works out better for Dunbar.
