It was obvious that Ryan Timmons had speed while playing WR for Kentucky, and evidently, he still has it.

In a video shared Friday night on Twitter by user @devinW3, Timmons had the opportunity to race The Freeze at the Braves game. If you’re unfamiliar with The Freeze, Atlanta hired former college sprinter Nigel Talton to race fans during the game. The Braves’ promotional rule is that The Freeze can’t run until the starter tells him to go.

We’ve seen it many times before when Talton catches the contestants before the finish line with his ridiculous speed. Well, the starter told him way too late against Timmons, as the speedy former WR obliterated The Freeze.

Timmons last played for Kentucky in 2016. During his four-year career, the WR recorded 112 catches for 1,254 yards and five TDs.

The Braves eventually beat the Nationals 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth, thanks to a walk-off hit from Josh Donaldson.
