Florida, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Ole Miss … you’ve made Austin Bryant’s top 10. He’s a four-star defensive end out of talent-hotbed Thomasville (Ga.), which is actually quite a bit closer to Tallahassee (Fla.) and Florida State than it is Athens (Ga.). And for the record, the Bulldogs didn’t make the cut.
Bryant is 6-foot-5, 245 pounds and has seen a flurry of activity from SEC schools in the past few months. The Aggies and Gamecocks were the two most recent programs to offer scholarships. The other schools to make the cut were the Seminoles, Clemson, Stanford, UCLA, Notre Dame and Penn State.
