Four-star LB Evans eliminates two SEC teams, has two left

Georgia and Ole Miss have been dismissed from the list–only Auburn and Alabama remain from the SEC.

Rashaan Evans decided to trim two of his top five schools today, and the Bulldogs and Rebels were the two. Now standing are Auburn, Alabama and UCLA. This also appears to have changed his official visit schedule, which had originally included a trip to Athens the weekend of Jan. 31. He will travel to Alabama this weekend and finish things up at his leader’s campus, Auburn. The Tigers have been considered the heavy favorite for his services for sometime, and he does reside in the city of Auburn.

Evans is one of the top 10 remaining prospects in the country who are considering SEC schools–he is a four-star prospect and rated No. 41 overall in the United States, and the No. 3 outside linebacker. He would be a huge addition to Auburn’s class. He is 6-foot-3, 220 pounds and had 130 tackles and 17.5 sacks as a senior.
