Could four-star legacy QB Lock be on board with Mizzou by next week?

Drew Lock isn’t tired of people saying he’s a ‘lock’ to Missouri. The four-star quarterback’s father played ball for the Tigers, and it’d be great to play at the same school as his father, he told Saturday Down South in a recent interview.

But there are a lot of dynamics in the decision for Lock. First of all, Mizzou isn’t the only powerhouse program that is courting him, and football isn’t the only sport in which he could contribute at an elite collegiate level. He’s a pretty darned good basketball player too, and that’s something to consider.

Lock Tweeted that next Wednesday–April 9–he will be announcing which sport he will play in college, and what college he will attend. Schools like Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Tennessee want him–along with Mizzou, of course.

It would be hard to see him committing to a school other than Mizzou, but you never know.
