The quarterback carousel of recruiting continues tonight, as Drew Lock will put an end to his version. He’ll make the announcement at 8 p.m. ET at a restaurant in his hometown of Lee’s Summit (Mo.).
The four-star prospect is the son of a former Mizzou player, so one would think the Tigers have the best shot at landing him tonight, but Ole Miss and Tennessee are also in the mix. Ohio State also has offered a scholarship and Texas came out of nowhere on Monday and offered. For the Longhorns, it may be too little too late, even though that could have been a powerful option if it had come a few months ago.
One key fact is Lock would like to play basketball too, and Mizzou has indicated that is possible with the Tigers.
“I absolutely loved the process of recruiting, I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” Lock told Saturday Down South earlier this week. “I’m extremely blessed to be able to go through this process as well, and yet at the same time extremely excited and happy to be deciding where I will be attending school next year.”
Just Tuesday, the Tigers landed four-star RB Natereace Strong.
