Travis Rudolph–who previously was thought to be a Florida State lean–proclaimed to one media outlet that he considers Alabama his leader now.
This weekend, the West Palm Beach (Fla.) native arrived in Orlando for the Under Armour All-American Bowl.
“At this point, I’d definitely say that Alabama has the edge,” Rudolph told ESPN.com. “You could say they are my leader. At this time going through this experience with the Under Armor practices and game, I’m going to narrow down my choices and see what I feel like is the best fit for me.”
Along with the Seminoles and Crimson Tide, Rudolph also took official visits to Auburn, Tennessee and Ohio State–schools he said he has not eliminated. Also, Florida was once considered a leader for Rudolph, who admitted to reporters that the Gators’ new focus on spread offense might be intriguing.
Rudolph is still expected to announce his final school at the Under Armour Game on Thursday.
