Russell is a 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle out of Carrollton (Ga.), and decommitted from Georgia shortly after witnessing the Iron Bowl at Auburn. He was star-struck by the game and atmosphere and his quotes following that game showed that it may have been the turning moment in his recruiting.
