Alabama legacy Jake Fruhmorgen will be done with recruiting by Thursday afternoon, but the Crimson Tide have been out of the picture for a while now.
Only Florida remains in the hunt for Fruhmorgen’s Thursday commitment. He Tweeted late Sunday that the Gators, Clemson and Michigan are the only schools in contention for his services. He has checked them all out on unofficial visits in recent weeks. His father, John, once played for Alabama, but John has said recently that his son wants to start his own legacy.
Clemson seems to be the team to beat for the 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle out of Tampa (Fla.). The announcement will come shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday at Plant High School in Tampa.
