Alabama and Auburn make up the rest of his top three, he told 247Sports.com in a recent interview. He said he had family in Louisiana and that was a factor. The big back is 6-foot-3, 200 pounds.
Other SEC schools like South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee have also offered.
Joyner had 126 tackles and 22 tackles for loss for Havelock H.S. in North Carolina, leading his team to a state championship.
