Florida has been hot in the past few days, landing its 2nd, 3rd and 4th prospects from in-state.
The latest came when Tristan Payton, a wide receiver from Jacksonville (Fla.), added his name to the list. He’s a three-star target and stands 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. His offer came on the spot during junior day, and two days later he committed to the Gators. That’s frequently how things go.
The other two to come on board since the weekend are OT Tyler Jordan and WR Deondre Farrier–a prep teammate of 2014 WR signee Ryan Sousa.
The Gators now have three commitments from Jacksonville and one from Orlando.
