Kareem Ali is one of the top player in talent-rich New Jersey, and Florida is now in his top two.
Ali told 247Sports.com that that Gators and Maryland stand out first and foremost, impressive considering Rutgers is right down the road from his Sicklerville (N.J.) home and Penn State and West Virginia also are nearby and more traditional threats to land New Jersey talent. Alis is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound cornerback out of Timber Creek H.S., and he is recorded in the 4.40 second time range in the 40-yard dash. He is rated a four-star prospect by some recruiting services, but a high-end three-star guy overall. And he’s the No. 8 prospect in his home state.
Already, the No. 1 player in New Jersey–cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick–is on board with the SEC at Alabama. Another top 10 player in New Jersey, OL Tommy Hatton, is thought to be heading to South Carolina, also.
