Four 4-star prospects lead the way for Arkansas class of 2015

Arkansas’ style of putting a class together has been impressive.

1) Get No. 1 player from in state (Ty Storey). Check.

2) Get incredibly talented foreign exchange student from Scandinavia (Hjalte Froholdt). Um, check.

3) Own in-state recruiting with 3 of the state’s top 7 so far (Storey, Jamario Bell, Colton Jackson). Check.

4) Get four-star lineman from Texas (Zach Rogers). Check.

Not bad for 11-plus months before national signing day 2015. No wonder this group is already rated a top 15 class in the nation and has turned some heads.

“It’s definitely a great start, and we’re hoping it won’t slow down any time soon, and we’re working on guys,” quarterback Ty Storey told Saturday Down South. “I’m the quarterback and I’m trying to be the leader.”

  • Jackson is ranked a Composite 4* recruit by 247Sports.
The recruiting class in the state of Arkansas for 2015 could be one the best and deepest classes in a very long time. There could be as many as 12-15 in-state prospects that get offers from the Hogs. Storey, Bell, TE Will Gragg, WR K.J. Hill, and Jackson are all currently ranked as 4* recruits by at least one of the major services.
QB Ross Trail is also a 4* player who moved to Olive Branch, MS last year, but has now moved back to his hometown of Wynne, AR. From what i have seen, Bielema is not recruiting Trail, who has committed to Louisville.

    • Other way around, Win. Colton’s a three-star composite … 247 by itself sees him as a 4-star. Doesn’t really matter, just gives you an idea of how strong the group is.
