One of the state of Tennessee’s top prospects has a top 10, and the Volunteers are one of those schools–along with three other SEC schools.
Cameron Ordway, a four-star cornerback out of Giles County H.S. in Pulaski, named Tennessee as one of his top 10, along with Ole Miss, LSU and Alabama. His lengthy list of finalists also includes defending national champion Florida State, Clemson, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Notre Dame. He does not indicate a leader among the group, though the Volunteers have to be considered one of the stronger candidates to land him.
Ordway is 6-foot-0, 175-pounds and is very swift on his feet. He seems to be a natural at the corner position. He is rated the No. 243 prospect in America and the No. 9 prospect in the Volunteer state.
