If the Gators keep recruiting at this pace, it seems they’ll be done with their class by the end of March.
They added their fourth commitment in the past week–actually in five days–when tight end Camrin Knight came aboard very late on Wednesday. He is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect out of Tallahassee (Fla.), Lincoln High School to be exact, and has picked up all five of his scholarship offers in the past three weeks as colleges seem to be just now discovering him. He has offers from Georgia Tech, East Carolina, Cincinnati and Maryland. More are likely to come, and it’ll probably elevate his ranking too–as right now he is only low three-star prospect.
Since one week ago, the Gators have added WR Tristan Payton of Jacksonville, OL Tyler Jordan, WR Deondre Farrier and Knight. DB Deontai Williams has been on board since early January. The class is rated No. 19 in the country.
