Gators, Mizzou make top 10 list for four-star wide receiver

It’s all about the small victories–especially when you’re a college program trying to land a 6-foot-4 wide receiver.

Miles Boykin is a four-star prospect out of Illinois, the No. 185 overall prospect in America. He is rated the No. 22 wide receiver prospect in America … and he could also end up at tight end, thanks to his build. Late on Monday he Tweeted his top 10 out in alphabetical order. Florida and Mizzou happily made that cut. Kentucky and Ole Miss had also extended scholarship offers, and he’d even trekked to Ole Miss in late April–but the Gators and Tigers are the only two that made the final list.

The other schools to make the cut for the Illinois receiver were Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and Virginia Tech. He has nearly 20 offers. Boykin does seem more like a Big Ten/Notre Dame type of kid, but you never know.

  • Brian, if there was ever a team that needed a play book for double tight-end schemes, it is Missouri 2014, have you ever seen a college position that deep on any team?
