The Gators have added two more commitments in the past month–including their top prospect so far in defensive back Marcus Lewis–who is tight with current freshman Jalen Tabor.
The real story with Florida is more about what is coming than what is already on board. We’ll repeat it here. Five-star recruits like DE CeCe Jefferson, OL Martez Ivey and WR George Campbell could end up being the backbone of this recruiting class if all goes to plan. Four-star prospects like LB Jeffery Holland and LB Adonis Thomas are also big targets. It could be a monster class if all come on board.
Most recent commitment Jalen Julius–who joined the class about two weeks ago–told Saturday Down South he’s glad to be a part of it.
“I love that the Gators are a big family,” Julius told Saturday Down South after announcing his commitment. “I think we are going to win at least 10 games this year.”
Editor’s note: Saturday Down South’s references to ratings follow the 247Sports.com composite rankings for high school prospects.
