It’s been a busy month for the Georgia Bulldogs, and it’s not even September yet.
The Bulldogs hauled in 6-foot-6, 260-pound offensive tackle Sage Hardin on Friday. His recruiting had warmed up in June as he attended camp in Athens a few weeks ago and received an offer after that. Not surprisingly, the Atlanta native was swayed by the attention and decided to stay in state. His other SEC offer was from Tennessee, while strong academic schools like Cal, Duke, Georgia Tech and Virginia were also after him and so were Ivy League programs Penn and Yale. He had offers from all of the aforementioned schools. He played his high school ball at The Marist School.
With the decision, Georgia picked up its 13th commitment of the year and fifth of the month of May. The Bulldogs are now ranked No. 8 in the nation.
