Frank Iheanacho was one of the fastest risers of the last year, and he’ll take his 6-foot-7 wide receiver’s frame to Texas A&M this fall.
The Houston (Texas) native made the announcement at the U.S. Army All American Bowl in San Antonio, also considering LSU and Oregon. He is the second big-time receiver to pick the Aggies this week, as Speedy Noil did at the Under Armour Game. Iheanacho was thought to be more of a basketball player until this fall, when he exploded onto the scene.
“I think me playing at the next level, it’s important for improvement,” Iheanacho told Saturday Down South in a recent interview. “I want to get better. (Texas A&M is) doing very well, and that progress is a pull factor, but I feel like I still have to know what’s best for me at the end of the day.”
