Jamal Danley has given several interviews in the last day or so saying his list is basically down to two schools–Mississippi State and Oklahoma.
That came after having a top three that included LSU in April. Danley is a 6-foot-5, 310-pound offensive tackle who played his prep ball at Byhalia (Miss.), so it wouldn’t be surprising if he jumped on the Bulldogs’ offer and stayed close to home. Danley plays his junior college ball at East Mississippi Community College and is rated the No. 34 overall JUCO prospect in America. He was once a commitment to Louisiana-Monroe.
Danley has been on Mississippi State’s campus countless times in the past calendar year, if that’s any kind of hint. He also holds scholarship offers from Kansas and Cincinnati.
“I’ve always had that good relationship with Mississippi State and it made me feel good when they offered me so early,” Danley told 247Sports.com. “I talked to Coach (Tony) Hughes and Coach (John) Hevesy last Wednesday and they want me to come up there before summer school starts. So I will do that in the next couple of weeks.”
