Kentucky commitment feels the love in ESPN 30-for-30 kind of way

Logan Stenberg was blown away by a package he received the other day. Even in the topsy-turvy world of recruiting, this one stuck out.

Stenberg, an Alabama offensive lineman who committed to Kentucky on April 6, got a puzzle (see image below) that formed a “ESPN 30 for 30″ series poster about Stenberg joining the Kentucky program. The ‘show’ premieres in Aug. 2015 when Stenberg takes the field for fall drills in his freshman year, and the director is listed as Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops. Stenberg Tweeted out an image of the puzzle.

Credit another one for creativity. Nicely done, Kentucky.

“I thought it was very creative,” Stenberg told Saturday Down South this morning. “My first reaction when I finished it was that it was a cool idea. It makes you feel like they really appreciate you and want you to be apart of their program. I’ve never talked to them about me liking the series, but I feel like the 30 for 30 series appeals to every athlete. My mom has been keeping all the mail I receive and I think she plans on making a scrap book or keep sake with it all.”
