Kentucky only has two players on board for 2015, but that should be changing soon.
Just like with the 2014 class, the Wildcats are primed to finish strongly, mining talent in Ohio and in other SEC hotbed states. Players like George Brown Jr. and Luke Hiers are players they’d like to scoop up soon, and the No. 1 player in the state--Damien Harris–is one they’d like to protect.
For now though, the class has two members, both in the secondary–one from Florida and one from Georgia. Marcus Walker is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound safety out of Lake Wales (Fla.), while Montrell Curtis is a 6-foot-0, 175-pound cornerback out of Hampton (Ga.). Both are rated three star prospects in the 247Sports.com composite ranking.
“They are an up and coming team and I love coach Stoops and what he is doing,” Walker told Saturday Down South. “They like that I’m explosive and they like the way I play the ball and that I’m a creative player.”
