The Wednesday additions of the nation’s top fullback and one of the nation’s top wide receivers has pushed LSU past Alabama and Texas A&M into the nation’s No. 1 spot in the national rankings. The most recent addition for the Tigers is national top 200 prospect Jazz Ferguson, a 6-foot-5, 205-pounder out of Saint Francisville (La.).

That followed the pickup of fullback David Ducre earlier in the day–giving the Tigers not only the top class, but the largest one in the nation with nine members. Both attended LSU’s in-state junior day this past weekend. Also coming aboard since the weekend was 6-foot-6 WR Stephen Sullivan in the 2016 class. For the record, the SEC now holds the nation’s top five spots in the 2015 team rankings. The order?: 1) LSU, 2) Texas A&M, 3) Alabama, 4) Mississippi State, 5) Tennessee.
