Adoree Jackson is one of the nation’s top remaining uncommitted prospects, and the SEC recruiting target earned a nice honor over the past few days.
The SEC recruiting target earned Mr. Football honors for one of the nation’s ‘Big Three’ states when the Serra H.S. (Gardena, Calif.) captured California’s version. The five-star prospect is also being hotly recruited by Southern Cal, but Florida, LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M also have offered the 5-foot-10, 185-pound cornerback.
“There have been a lot of great players who have been through our program, and Adoree’ definitely made sure to put his stamp on it,” Serra coach Scott Altenberg told the Daily Breeze newspaper in Torrance (Calif.). “Adoree’ lived up to what those great players in the past did.”
Jackson, who is still expected to announce his college decision on Feb. 5 (national signing day), rushed for 639 yards and 5 TDs, while catching 38 passes for 812 yards and 7 TDs. He scored six touchdowns on kick/punt returns and intercepted six passes–three for scores.
