LSU holds at nation’s No. 3 class for 2015, 2nd biggest in the nation

LSU has been busy since New Years Day.

The Tigers have landed six of their nine commitments since 2014 began, with the most recent being WR Jazz Ferguson and the nation’s No. 1 fullback–David Ducre. The group is ranked No. 3 in the nation and is tied for the second biggest class in the nation behind West Virginia. Key targets like DE Terry Beckner and DB Tarvarus McFadden are still out there to chase, but if the Tigers can haul in players like that, they could be competing for a mythical national recruiting title.

“I’m stoked because I have the opportunity to play with and compete against some of the best players that the country has to offer,” Ducre told Saturday Down South after his commitment. “The competition will only make me better. They love my physicality, strength, speed and my hands.”
