LSU lands first commitment in more than two months, moves to No. 5 nationally

Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas … you name it, the SEC West’s teams have been busy stockpiling commitments lately.

LSU decided to get in on the act this weekend.

The Tigers added their 10th commitment–and first since a flurry of additions in mid February–when three-star offensive lineman Adrian Magee came aboard late Sunday. It was an expected addition to the program, as Magee is from Franklinton (La.) and had been a serious lean for some time now. He is a 6-foot-5, 315-pound tackle that some services have as highly ranked as a four-star prospect. He attended LSU’s junior day in late February and picked up his offer there.

LSU moves up to No. 5 in the national team rankings thanks to the addition of Magee.

Editor’s note: Saturday Down South’s references to ratings follow the composite rankings for high school prospects.
