Travonte Valentine has gotten his ACT score and he’s officially on board now, he told The Times-Picayune newspaper out of New Orleans.
Valentine was rated the No. 65 overall prospect in America as a member of the class of 2014, and the No. 3 defensive tackle prospect in the country. At one point, he was committed to Miami and also Florida, but in the end the Florida native chose LSU on national signing day. And this week, the ACT score came in. His score of 19 qualifies him to play this fall.
“When I got my score I was so excited,” Valentine told the paper. “This was the last big hurdle for me. Now I can focus on achieving my dream, playing at LSU. Everyone has been so supportive and I’m glad I came through for them.”
