Nation’s top dual-threat QB Gibson names Tennessee his leader

Tennessee fans might be interested in this.

Torrance Gibson, the electric dual-threat QB that Vols fans have been courting on social media all spring, officially named Tennessee his leader–something that has sort of been hinted at but never so firmly put. Auburn fans and LSU fans should be fired up too, he posted on Facebook that they are No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. All are ahead of Ohio State, once thought to be the big leaders for Gibson. He did say that he hasn’t been on a visit to Columbus (Ohio) yet though, so he says that hurts the Buckeyes–for now. But he still like their style of play.

Gibson took a spring break tour through the southeast earlier this spring, and his visit to Knoxville was a good one. He sent countless Tweets praising the fans and the Tennessee coaching staff and Knoxville. Gibson told Saturday Down South this spring that Tennessee’s coaching staff told him they didn’t take a QB in 2014 because they were waiting on him in 2015.
