Ole Miss lands fourth commitment for 2015

Ole Miss isn’t wasting any time resting.

With its 2014 class in the bag, the Rebels have been busy looking forward this week, and happened to bring in commitment No. 4 for the class of 2015. Several SEC schools don’t even have a commitment yet for 2015, and most classes around the country haven’t even started being constructed. The Rebels are way ahead of the game.

The new guy is offensive guard Marquel Harrell out of the hotbed otherwise known as Georgia. Harrell is 6-foot-3, 295 pounds. He is out of Creekside HS in Fairburn, Ga.

“I wasted no time. It is an SEC offer and Ole Miss had always been in my top five schools. I’ve been watching them since I was a little kid,” Harrell told

Florida, Tennessee and Alabama had also shown interest, but Ole Miss was the first team to offer a scholarship–doing it this week. He joins Willie Hibbler, Fred Walls and the biggest personality of the bunch–Texas product Rawleigh Williams–as Ole Miss’ early pickups. Hibbler and Williams are four-star prospects.

"Thank you for making it so easy to keep up with my team.
You provide SEC fans with an amazing, free service!"
