Ole Miss recruiting holding steady, eyeing in-state talent

NCAA Football: Music City Bowl-Mississippi vs Georgia Tech

One of the quieter teams in the SEC–recruiting wise–has been Ole Miss.

Don’t expect that to last forever. With eight commitments on board but several key in-state targets still out there, this could be interesting. In-state four-star prospects like OL Javon Patterson, DT Fletcher Adams and JUCO DT Demond Tucker are all distinct possibilities to end up with the Rebels.

Patterson and Adams–should they choose Oxford–would be huge recruiting victories for the Rebels. Both are realistic.

There has been some decommitment activity with the Rebels in recent weeks. Long-time commitment Rawleigh Williams III out of Texas dropped Ole Miss and switched to Arkansas. But around the same time, two Mississippi State commitments switched over to Ole Miss when Jay Johnson and Armani Linton jumped over.
