On Monday afternoon, highly regarded pro-style QB Josh Rosen said via Twitter that he has an announcement date planned for his college choice.
On March 20th, the five-star QB out of California will be done with the process … and trust us on this: It’ll set off the domino effect of quarterback recruiting. Though Rosen likely won’t be choosing an SEC school, as he has Pac-12 schools UCLA, Cal and Stanford hard after him, his decision will trigger a chain reaction with all of the other QBs. Rosen does hold offers from Tennessee and Vanderbilt and probably just about any SEC school would take him, and Nick Saban visited him personally in January around the time Ricky Town decommitted from the Crimson Tide, but it appears Rosen will stay closer to home.
Then, the QB commitments will commence. Other five-star QBs curious about what Rosen would do will probably then go with their first choices, as will the four-star variety and then down to the three-star types with even fewer options. March, April, May and June will be very busy when it comes to signal callers.
