When Tennessee’s 2014 recruiting class began ballooning into the 30-player range, a lot of people started wondering how the Volunteers could fit this many players in.
Well, the Vols have one fewer recruit as of Friday. Kevin Mouhon, a high-end three-star linebacker out of Georgia, backed off his commitment, Tweeting the following: “I’ve decided that the University Of Tennessee is not for me and I’ll be attending college somewhere else =).”
Tennessee’s class still leads BCS conference schools with 33 commitments. Of those 33, 14 are already on campus and actually be counted against last year’s class if need be.
Mouhon had just returned from an official visit to Cincinnati, and his brother is currently on the Bearcats’ roster–which may explain a lot.
